Texans quarterback Ryan Mallett (chest) is active for Thursday's game against the Colts, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Mallett was never in danger of missing the game, but he could be in danger of losing his job if he turns in another poor performance. With Arian Foster ready for a full workload and Andrew Luck (shoulder) sidelined, the Texans will likely fall far short of their league-leading 50.3 pass attempts per game.
