ORLANDO - While the market for the top starting pitchers available in free agency seems to be in a holding pattern -- likely due to the issues with whether or not Masahiro Tanaka will be posted -- starters like Bronson Arroyo continue to be courted.

As things stand now, it appears the list of suitors for Arroyo is taking shape.

Arroyo told a writer for the Reds' official website that the Twins, Phillies and Angels have shown interest in him, and then there's this:

The Pirates have also been connected to Arroyo in rumors, but it sounds like the Twins are the leader in the clubhouse right now.

Arroyo, 36, was 14-12 with a 3.79 ERA (101 ERA+), 1.15 WHIP and 124 strikeouts in 202 innings last season. He did lead the NL in home runs allowed, with 32, but 19 of those came in homer-friendly Great American Ball Park.

The biggest strength Arroyo has is his durability. In every single season from 2005-13, Arroyo has made at least 32 starts and worked at least 199 innings.
