The Giants have claimed pitcher Erik Cordier off waivers from the Pirates and added him to the 40-man roster. He went 4-2 with a 4.58 ERA, 1.49 WHIP and 65:28 K:BB ratio in 53 innings with Triple-A Indianapolis last season.
