Giants pitcher Erik Cordier clears waivers, outrighted to Triple-A

Giants pitcher Erik Cordier has cleared waivers after being designated for assignment, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

Cordier has three days to accept or reject his outright assignment to Triple-A Sacramento. Cordier pitched six innings for San Francisco this season, posting a 1.50 ERA with nine strikeouts and just two walks.
