Giants' Erik Cordier (forearm) strikes out two in rehab debut

Giants pitcher Erik Cordier tossed a scoreless inning while racking up two strikeouts in his rehab debut with high Class A San Jose Thursday.

Cordier threw 11 of his 17 pitches for strikes in his one inning of work and didn't give up any hits or walks. He's working his way back from a forearm strain.
