When you go up against Ravens receiver Steve Smith, it's guaranteed you will hear some yapping from the fiery wide receiver.

Many a cornerback has come away from a matchup against Smith a little miffed, and you can add Cowboys cornerback Anthony Brown to the list.

The rookie defensive back, a sixth-round pick from Purdue taken in the 2016 draft, faced Smith during Dallas' 27-17 win, and as a result says he has "no respect" for the veteran.

"I had respect for him before the game, but after the game I have no respect for him anymore," Brown said. "He's a real character, and I actually saw it for myself [Sunday]. I don't got nothing to say about Steve Smith."

Essentially, Brown says Smith was a little too aggressive in his celebrations following some plays and also decided to spend the entire afternoon trying to get in Brown's head.

"Coming into the game they already told me what kind of player he was," Brown said. "But until you see it for yourself, then you're just, 'calm down,' but it's hard because he keeps yapping after every play. It's kind of hard."

The good news for Brown is he's probably seen the last of Smith, who finished with eight catches for 99 yards and a score, barring a surprising Ravens-Cowboys Super Bowl matchup or Smith returning for an additional year and getting to square off against Dallas again.

Also good news? Brown's team won. Smith can say whatever he wants about winning the matchup, but at the end of the day the Cowboys walked out with a victory.
