Anderson (4-9) allowed two earned runs on six hits and one walk through 1.2 innings, taking the loss in Wednesday's 10-2 defeat to the Cardinals. He did not record a strikeout.

In his first start since suffering a left shoulder contusion on Sept. 1 against the Giants, it was Anderson's ego that was bruised Wednesday night. Although the left-hander only had two earned runs charged to his name, six Cardinals crossed home under his watch. The big blow came from Tyler O'Neill, who smacked a two-run shot off Anderson in the first. While the 33-year-old has been a serviceable pitcher for the Brewers this season, the lack of strikeouts in his game (four or fewer in 21 of 22 starts) render him a tough play in most fantasy formats.
