Wilson (2-1) allowed two runs on six hits in seven innings, striking out two and walking one in a 9-2 victory over the Twins on Wednesday.
He threw 62 of his 95 pitches for strikes, which includes 18 called strikes. At one point, Wilson retired seven straight hitters. The only runs he allowed came on a solo home run in the second and a one-out single in the fifth. His next scheduled start will be Tuesday against the Mariners.
