Wilson was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
Wilson likely wouldn't have been available out of the bullpen Sunday after needing 22 pitches to get through an inning in Saturday's game, so he was dispatched back to the minors in exchange for a fresher arm in Logan Verrett. The Orioles could bring Wilson back the next time the big club has a need for an extra reliever.
