Hawes scored a season-high 13 points (5-6 FG, 3-3 3Pt), grabbed three rebounds, and dished out two assists over 20 minutes in Tuesday's 130-105 win over the Bulls.

Hawes was one of seven players to finish in double figures for the Hornets, who were able to dole out a healthy amount of playing time to their reserves in the resounding victory. The well-traveled big man actually outpaced Cody Zeller, Tyler Hansbrough, and Frank Kaminsky for minutes among the frontcourt players on the bench, but he'll likely only remain ahead of Hansbrough and Kaminsky in the pecking order going forward. Zeller seems to be locked in as the Hornets' third interior player, but saw limited minutes Tuesday after recently losing 10 pounds following a bout with dehydration.
