Onuaku was recalled from the D-League's Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Sunday, Mark Berman of FOX 26 Houston (KRIV) reports.
With Ryan Anderson (ankle) expected to miss the next two weeks, the Rockets elected to recall Onuaku, Troy Williams and Isaiah Taylor from the D-League to provide the team with some more depth off the bench. It's unlikely that any of those three players sees regular run in coach D'Antoni's rotation, however. Onuaku has appeared in just two games for the Rockets all season, averaging 3.0 points and 1.5 rebounds in 5.0 minutes.
