Novak has seen the court in just seven games this season, so it was rare appearance for him during Thursday's outing versus the Pelicans, as the Thunder had a commanding lead early on in the second half. Despite the season-high in points, Novak remains just an emergency option for the Thunder and on most nights won't even come off the bench.
