Cowboys wide receiver Brice Butler (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Patriots.
Butler served as the No. 4 wide receiver in a Week 4 loss to the Saints, catching one pass for 67 yards on his first target of the season. He had a chance to make it a touchdown, but he pulled up lame with the injury and was unable to reach the end zone. In Butler's absence, Rodney Whitehead will provide depth behind Terrance Williams, Devin Street and Cole Beasley.
