The Cleveland Cavaliers will partner with Goodyear on a logo sponsorship deal that will place the wing-foot logo on the Cavaliers jersey beginning in the 2017 season, according to a report from ESPN.

The NBA approved of teams signing a company to place a 2.5-by-2.5 inch logo on jerseys 13 months ago, and the Utah Jazz, Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets, Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets have secured sponsorships. The logo position on the jersey will be placed on the shoulder as shown below.

The value of the ad has not been made public, however ESPN reports the Golden State Warriors are seeking $13 million to $20 million for a sponsorship -- a number that might be close in value to the Cavaliers, given the profile and exposure both teams receive.
