After a one-week hiatus because of Thanksgiving, Color Rush jerseys will be returning to the NFL on Thursday when the Vikings host the Cowboys, and for the second time this year, we're going to see a team wearing an all-purple uniform.

The Vikings will be busting out brand new uniforms against Dallas that will feature purple everything. When the Vikings take the field at U.S. Bank Stadium on Thursday night, they'll be wearing purple pants and purple jerseys, as you can see below.

If that means the Vikings are going to play like the vaunted Purple People Eaters of the 1960s and 1970s, then the Cowboys might be in trouble.

The Vikings have actually worn all-purple before, but with a slight difference. Back in 2013, they wore purple jerseys with purple pants, but those jerseys featured white numbers and white trim on the pants.

The Color Rush combo is different because the numbers are gold instead of white.

The Vikings now join the Ravens in the "all-purple club" as Baltimore wore an all-purple uniform in Week 10.

As for the Cowboys, you'll probably recognize their uniform because they're actually going to wear the same Color Rush uniform that they wore last season. In 2015, the Cowboys were one of the original eight teams to participate in the Color Rush campaign, and for the second straight year, they'll be wearing all-white for their Color Rush game.

Here's what the uniform looks like from head-to-toe.

Of course, the Cowboys will be hoping that this game goes better than their last Color Rush game, when in 2015 they lost 33-14 to the Panthers.

Here's a look at the uniforms next to each other:

To see these uniforms in action, you'll need to tune in to NBC or NFL Network for the Cowboys-Vikings game on Thursday night (8:25 p.m. ET). You'll also be able to stream the game on Twitter.

By the way, just in case you're wondering, the Color Rush craze will continue in Week 14 when the Chiefs (all-red) host the Raiders (all-white).
