If the Steelers need a field goal to beat the Giants on Sunday, they might have to turn to a kicker who hasn't attempted a regular season kick in three months.

The team signed former Texans kicker Randy Bullock on Saturday after the health of current kicker Chris Boswell came into question. Boswell was a late addition to the Steelers' injury report on Saturday morning after suffering an abdominal injury.

If Boswell can't go on Sunday, that means the Steelers will roll with Bullock, who hasn't kicked in a regular season game since Week 1.

Coincidentally, Bullock was playing for the Giants in Week 1, the same team the Steelers will be facing this week. Bullock got the call in New York after Giants kicker Josh Brown was suspended for the regular season opener.

Brown was later released by the Giants, but Bullock didn't get the full-time job. Instead, the Giants went with Robbie Gould, which means Bullock would probably love to beat them with a kick on Sunday.

Bullock didn't attempt any field goals in the Giants' 20-19 win over Dallas, and he went 2 of 3 on extra points.

The 26-year-old was a fifth-round pick by the Texans in the 2012 NFL Draft. Bullock spent three-and-a-half seasons with in Houston before being cut just four games into the 2015 season. After his stint with the Texans, Bullock spent eight games with the Jets in 2015.
