If you're a big fan of brightly colored uniforms, then the NFL has some good news for you: The league's Color Rush campaign is coming back for 2016, and this time, it's going to involve everyone.

During a recent meeting with Lion season-ticket holders, team president Rod Wood revealed that all 32 teams will be getting a brightly-colored alternate jersey for Thursday appearances for the upcoming season.

"All teams that play on Thursday this year will wear a Color Rush uniform," Wood said, via the Detroit Free Press.

It's not clear what color any team will be wearing, but this likely means you'll see the Bengals in an all-orange uniform or the Packers in an all-green or all-yellow uniform.

Each team is expected to show off their new uniform sometime in the next few weeks, according to Wood.

"The roll out of the Color Rush uniforms for all teams will occur when they announce the schedule," Wood said.

The 2016 NFL schedule is expected to be released in mid-April, sometime before the draft, and every team plays at least one Thursday game.

The new Color Rush campaign is so top secret that Wood couldn't even reveal what color the Lions will be wearing for their game.

"I'm hoping we have another Thursday night game in addition to Thanksgiving. And we will wear a uniform that I can't describe yet because the NFL won't allow me to," Wood said. "It will be all one color and we'll wear it on Thursday night."

The most excited person to hear this news is probably Lions defensive back Darius Slay, who was upset that Detroit didn't get picked for a Color Rush game in 2015.

Although all-blue would make sense for Detroit, the Lions could also go with all-silver or all-black. The Cowboys went with all-white for their Color Rush game in 2015.

Whatever happens, color blind people will have to cross their fingers cross that the NFL doesn't schedule an all-green team against an all-red team like the league did with the Bills and Jets in November.

About 8 percent of men are red/green color blind, which means it was a complete nightmare for those people trying to watch the game.

In other uniform news, Wood said that Lions will likely overhaul their regular uniform in time for the 2017 season. At that point, the team will also likely add an alternate uniform that has nothing to do with the NFL's Color Rush campaign.
