COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Amanze Egekeze poured in 28 points, including a go-ahead 3-pointer with 60 seconds left in the game, to propel Belmont to a 75-70 victory over Tennessee Tech on Saturday night.

Egekeze hit all 13 of his free-throw attempts and added 10 rebounds to notch his second double-double of the season for the Bruins (20-7, 12-2 Ohio Valley Conference). Kevin McClain scored 15 and Dylan Windler finished with 14 points and 11 boards for his 12th double-double of the campaign.

Mason Ramsey made 1 of 2 free throws with 2:01 left to play to give Tennessee Tech a 68-66 lead. But McClain found Egekeze for the go-ahead 3 and Windler and Burton Sampson hit 5 of 6 free throws in the final 30 seconds to preserve the victory.

Curtis Phillips Jr. led the Golden Eagles (16-11, 8-6) with 17 points, while Kajon Mack and Shaq Calhoun scored 14 and 13, respectively. All three players finished with six rebounds.

Belmont made 24 of 30 from the foul line to offset 37 percent shooting from the floor and 23 percent from distance (7 of 30). The Bruins and Murray State are tied for first place in the OVC.
