North Carolina added a major addition to its 2022 recruiting class as four-star wide receiver Andre Greene Jr. committed to the Tar Heels live on CBS Sports HQ. Greene, a product of St. Christopher's School in Richmond, Virginia, committed to North Carolina over Clemson and Georgia.

The 2022 recruit moves North Carolina up to No. 9 in the national rankings and No. 1 in the ACC, two spots up on conference power Clemson. The Tar Heels are putting together a monstrous recruiting class with two five-star players committed, including fellow Virginian OT Zach Rice.

Greene is truly a game-changing prospect and among four top-10 receivers that remain on the 2022 recruiting board. The industry standard 247Sports Composite ranks Greene as the No. 9 receiver and No. 71 overall player in the Class of 2022. Greene would be the highest-rated receiver in the 2022 class for every one of his finalists. 247Sports national analyst Brian Dohn had this scouting report on Greene:
