HAMILTON, N.Y. (AP) Freshman Jordan Burns made 12 of 15 shots for a career-high 26 points, Will Rayman hit five 3-pointers and scored 23 points, and Colgate rallied in the second half to beat Maryland-Baltimore County 93-88 on Sunday.

Colgate scored 11 straight points, with 3-pointers by Rayman and Sean O'Brien, to take a 73-70 lead with nine minutes left.

Burns made a big shot with 30 seconds left and the Raiders drew a charge on the other end. O'Brien was fouled and made two free throws to seal it before UMBC missed a pair of shots inside.

Jordan Swopshire added 17 points and O'Brien finished with 12 for Colgate (2-1). Rayman was 7 of 14 from the field and grabbed seven rebounds.

It was Colgate's most points since scoring 101 at the Citadel on Dec. 2 last season.

Jairus Lyles had 26 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and four steals for UMBC (1-3). Arkel Lamar added 24 points and eight boards. The duo combined to make five of UMBC's 14 3-pointers and K.J. Maura hit all four of his attempts from distance.
