Palushaj penned a professional tryout agreement with Columbus on Thursday.
Palushaj returned to North America last season with AHL Lehigh Valley after spending the previous year playing in the KHL. The 27-year-old has bounced around several different organizations over the course of his career, but has totaled less than a full NHL season on his way to logging three goals and 11 assists in 68 contests. A roster spot with the Blue Jackets seems like a long shot for the Michigan-native, so fantasy owners may want to consider other long-term prospects.
