Falcons vs. Broncos Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Sunday's NFL game

Game Recap

The Denver Broncos weren't able to make up for their loss to the Atlanta Falcons from their previous meeting in October of 2016. The Broncos took a 34-27 hit to the loss column. They were down 27-6 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Atlanta's QB Matt Ryan did his thing and passed for three TDs and 284 yards on 35 attempts. Ryan ended up with a passer rating of 162.20. Atlanta also got help from WR Olamide Zaccheaus, who showed off his sure hands for 103 receiving yards in the win.

Denver's defeat came about despite a quality game from QB Drew Lock, who passed for two TDs and 313 yards on 48 attempts in addition to rushing for one TD and 47 yards. Lock ended up with a passer rating of 116.40.

The Broncos' overall record fell to 3-5. The victory makes it two in a row for Atlanta and bumps their record up to 3-6.

Denver is staying on the road next week to face off against the Las Vegas Raiders at 4:05 p.m. ET Nov. 15 at Allegiant Stadium. Atlanta will have some time to rest before their next game, which is against the New Orleans Saints at 1 p.m. ET in two weeks at Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
