OMG Myles Garrett

I promise you, this will be one of the best special teams plays you'll see all season. With Matt Gay setting up for a 60-yard field goal, Myles Garrett jumped over the line of scrimmage and blocked the attempt, which ended up leading to Browns points. For those wondering: You can jump over the line of scrimmage if you don't touch anyone, and somehow, the 6-foot-4, 272-pound defensive end didn't make contact with anyone as he made a potential game-changing special teams play.

Welcome back, Saquon!

Saquon Barkley returned from injury last week against Buffalo, but he made his first vintage Saquon play Sunday vs. the Commanders. He ran a quick out route out of the backfield, caught the pass from Tyrod Taylor, outran the defender covering him and then finished off the 32-yard score to put the Giants ahead 14-0.

Ravens 21, Lions 0

Yep, that's the real score. It's been all Ravens over the first 20 minutes of game action. Lamar Jackson threw his second touchdown when he found Mark Andrews for the 11-yard catch and run. On the other side, Lions quarterback Jared Goff has thrown for all of two yards on 1 of 3 passing. It's been a nightmare start for Detroit.

Giants score first FIRST-HALF offensive TD of season

Usually, this wouldn't be a big deal. But it's a massive deal for the Giants, who just scored their first first-half offensive touchdown during the SEVENTH game of the season. The beneficiary was Darren Waller, whose first score in a Giants uniform gave them a 7-0 advantage over the Commanders.

Can't guard Mike

That's Michael Thomas' Twitter handle, but for this scenario we're using it for Mike Evans. Facing 1-on-1 coverage against A.J. Terrell, the Bucs veteran beat Terrell with a stutter step off the line of scrimmage and then gained separation as he galloped down the left sideline. Baker Mayfield hit Evans in stride, and he did the rest on his way for the 40-yard touchdown.

Ravens rolling

Two possessions, two touchdowns for the Ravens, who are up 14-0 on the Lions after Lamar Jackson found Nelson Agholor free in the end zone. And why was Agholor open? Because Jackson bought so much time in the pocket that the Lions defense couldn't possible cover everyone for that long.

Patriots???

The Patriots entered Sunday averaging 12.0 points per game -- the second-worst mark in the NFL. So of course they're up 10-0 midway through the first quarter on the Bills, who have owned them of late. Following an opening-drive field goal, New England tacked on a touchdown by way of Ezekiel Elliott's two-yard rush.

Ridder does it himself

In the battle for NFC South supremacy, the Falcons struck first. Desmond Ridder capped off the eight-play, 58-yard drive by keeping the zone read and rumbling around left end for the short score.

Lamar runs it in

The best game of the early afternoon slate is going on in Baltimore, where the Ravens took the early lead on Lamar Jackson's scramble touchdown on fourth-and-1 from the Lions' seven-yard line.

Shootout in Indianapolis?

Make that 14 points in fewer than four minutes. After Jerome Ford's long rushing score, the Colts responded with a long touchdown of their own: a 59-yard catch and run from rookie Josh Downs. A defensive offsides gave Indianapolis a free play, and Gardner Minshew delivered with the touchdown.

Ford for the score

Deshaun Watson is back from injury, but it was Jerome Ford who got the Browns on the board first with a 69-yard touchdown run. Cleveland takes the early lead over the Colts.
