UEFA Champions League draw results: PSG vs. Barcelona, Chelsea vs. Atletico Madrid, plus Europa draw confirmed

Europe's biggest clubs have learned their fate in the knockout stages of the Champions League after the round of 16 draw was made in Nyon, Switzerland.

Stand out ties include the meeting of Atalanta, last season's surprise quarter-finalists, and Real Madrid, Chelsea being drawn with Atletico Madrid and a reunion between Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain four years on from La Remontada, when the Spanish side overcame a four goal first leg deficit to advance to the quarter-finals.

Meanwhile the Europa League threw up a string of fascinating ties with Spanish league leaders Real Sociedad drawn against Manchester United, Red Bull Salzburg pitted against Villarreal and Arsenal due to face Benfica.

And another one - Granada against Napoli should be a real cracker. A tough defence to get by against one of Italy's most thrilling attacks.

Salzburg against Villarreal - you have to say there are a lot of games in this round of 32 where one favourite is going to knock out another.

And there's another English team who are going to be thoroughly unhappy with their lot. Benfica have hardly set Europe alight this season, knocked out by PAOK in the Champions League qualifiers and drawing three of their six group games.

Sociedad vs Man Utd, that's a cracking draw for every one of the other 30 teams in the Europa League. One of the favourites is going to knock the other out.
