Wright-Foreman also had eight turnovers but only two assists.

Jalen Ray had 17 points for Hofstra (23-5, 13-2 Colonial Athletic Association). Desure Buie added 16 points and nine assists. Jacquil Taylor had 14 points, 17 rebounds and seven blocks for the hosts.

Eli Pemberton, the Pride's second leading scorer heading into the contest at 16 points per game, shot only 20 percent in the game (3 of 15).

Brian Fobbs had 29 points and six rebounds for the Tigers (10-18, 6-9). Nakye Sanders added 16 points and 11 rebounds. Solomon Uyaelunmo had 14 points.

Tobias Howard, whose 11 points per game entering the contest ranked second on the Tigers, was held to only 5 points on 2-of-11 shooting.

The Pride improve to 2-0 against the Tigers on the season. Hofstra defeated Towson 84-61 on Jan. 26. Hofstra faces James Madison at home on Saturday. Towson plays Northeastern on the road on Saturday.
