BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) Harald Frey made three 3-pointers and scored a career-high 20 points, Quinton Everett added four 3s and 17 points, and Montana State beat Idaho State 80-63 on Saturday.

Montana State made 11 of 22 from distance - with nine coming in a 40-27 first half - and shot 50 percent overall from the floor.

The Bobcats had a 25-point lead in the second half but went without a field goal for three-plus minutes until Frey's assist to Zach Green for a 76-58 lead.

Tyler Hall scored 12 points for Montana State (6-9, 1-1 Big Sky) and Devonte Klines had 11 points for his first double-digit scoring game of his career.

Ethan Telfair, brother of former NBA player Sebastian, scored 16 points for Idaho State (2-12, 0-2) and Novak Topalovic scored 15 points with seven coming at the stripe. The Bengals were held to 17-of-46 shooting (37 percent), including 3 of 18 from distance.
