Komarov was promoted from the taxi squad ahead of Thursday's game versus the Bruins, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.
Komarov is expected to slot into the lineup Thursday. The 34-year-old contributes in a checking role, as he's recorded two assists and 23 hits over nine games this season.
