Champions League scores: PSG rescue a draw vs. Newcastle, Man City score three in comeback vs. Leipzig, more

Barcelona, Lazio, and Dortmund are both through to the round of 16 after wins

Manchester City may have needed a three goal comeback in the second half but they've wrapped up Group G with a 3-2 victory over RB Leipzig during a wild matchday five of action and Barcelona joined them with a comeback win over Porto. Borussia Dortmund also secured qualification for the next round defeating AC Milan while Feyenoord are now eliminated from Champions League contention after losing to Atletico Madrid. Lazio also took care of business against Celtic to secure a spot in the round of 16. As the group stage is reaching the tail end, Group F is still wide open as every team can join Dortmund in the knockout stage as things stand after PSG scored a last-second equalizer on a penalty against Newcastle.

We're now halfway through matchday five

Big big results for some away sides with Dortmund qualifying for the knockout stage. Atletico Madrid also defeated Feyenoord to qualify for the knockout stages while eliminating the Dutch side. Lazio also clinched a place in the last 16. Newcastle United no longer controls their own destiny after conceding a late penalty to PSG but every team in their group is still alive for advancement. Barcelona also qualified but Shakhtar Donetsk and Porto are now level where the winner of their match on December 13 will determine the final spot from the group.

This is a big goal as with a loss Feyenoord are out of Champions League contention. It's Hermoso who was able to direct the ball in the back of the net as the Spanish side are rolling as of late.

City gets one back

With the match only in the 55th minute, it is plenty of time for City to come from behind to win this match. It was of course Erling Haaland who scored City's opener as Guardiola made subs to get back closer to the first choice XI.

Shakhtar bolstered their credentials for a round of 16 berth of their own, while Celtic and Antwerp are officially out of the running for the Champions League and Europa League knockouts.
