De Paul sent off!

Atleti's De Paul picks up a second yellow card for a harsh tackle in the 82nd minute. It means his side are in for a nervy finish at Celtic Park, where the game is currently 2-2. He will miss Celtic's visit to the Wanda Metropolitano on Matchday 4, and all of this feels like it could have been avoided since his first yellow was for dissent.

Reyna comes on for Dortmund

Reyna comes on with roughly 10 minutes on the clock for Dortmund, making his first Champions League appearance of the season after recovering from injury. He's on to help Dortmund close out their 1-0 lead over Newcastle, which would be a dramatic result in the so-called Group of Death.

PSG 1-0 Milan!

We have liftoff in Paris! After a quite tame opening 30 minutes, Mbappe springs to life and rakes home a low shot past Maignan to put the French champions in front. Clinical finish from the French superstar who had not had too many looks at goal up until then. At the other end, though, do Milan even want to score a Champions League goal this season? Their Inter-esque defense from last year's final run is not going much for their hopes going forward.

Hot reception

Getting underway in Paris with the home support unleashing a fiery welcome to the visiting Milan players. Impossible not to get fired up for big European nights in the Parisien atmosphere, but will the product on the field match what we have seen in the stands? That is often the question. We are about to find out!
