Two SEC running backs have been listed as challengers in the most recent set of offshore Heisman Trophy betting odds: Georgia's Nick Chubb and LSU's Leonard Fournette.

At the 2015 SEC Media Days on Thursday, Fournette was asked about his Bulldogs counterpart and potential Heisman Trophy rival. The former five-star sophomore called Chubb a "great person" and then paid Chubb possibly an even higher compliment.

"I think he is hands-down the best running back in the SEC," Fournette said. "I'm competing against him every day."

Not that (despite his history of Heisman flirtation), Fournette meant that in a head-to-head fashion for national honors; asked about the Heisman chatter, Fournette said that "at the end of the day" the only thing that matters is "holding that national championship trophy."

But clearly Fournette is expecting both himself and Chubb to have headline-making seasons. Asked about Chubb's offseason comparison of himself to a Ferrari, Fournette said if he had to compare himself to a car, he'd go with his favorite automobile -- a Bugatti.

If Fournette has expensive taste in cars, though, his fashion sense runs a little more man-of-the-people. Asked where he'd bought his bright red pants (to match his bright red bow tie), Fournette answered: Dillard's.

"You guys can all go buy your own," he told the media with a laugh.
