The Dodgers reassigned Hicks to minor league camp Monday.

Hicks spent the past two seasons in the Giants' system, including 71 games with the big club in 2014. After inking a minor league contract with the division rival Dodgers in early February, he cobbled together a measly .200/.320/.200 line with three RBI, one run, and one stolen base in 20 Cactus League at-bats. The 30-year-old middle infielder will act as organizational depth to start the campaign.
