Cubs pitcher Barret Loux underwent Tommy John surgery earlier this week, MLB.com reports.
Loux was acquired in 2012 in the deal that sent Geovany Soto to Texas. He went 4-6 with a 4.84 ERA in 19 appearances (16 starts) with Triple-A Iowa last season.
