Conor McGregor has earned the respect of his brethren in Las Vegas. The UFC's featherweight champion has been installed as a slight favorite over lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez for Saturday's main event at UFC 205, according to OddsShark.com.

McGregor (-150) has been favored in each fight he has fought in UFC with the exception of Jose Aldo, where he was -105 to Aldo's -115. His only UFC loss came when he was an over-the-top favorite against Nate Diaz the first time they fought at UFC 196, when he went off at -400. So far, that is the only time he has not returned a profit to gamblers.

Meanwhile, his challenger, Alvarez, has been listed as an underdog in each of his four UFC fights, losing just one time to Donald Cerrone by unanimous decision.
