Denny Hamlin already has recorded two victories this year and nearly came away with his third last Thursday night. The 39-year-old finished only 2.208 seconds behind winner Chase Elliott at Charlotte, keeping him tied with Joey Logano for most wins this season and even with Matt Kenseth (39) for fourth among active drivers. Hamlin attempts to snap the deadlock on Sunday at Bristol Motor Speedway as Food City presents the 2020 Supermarket Heroes 500.

Hamlin is listed at 7-1, while Kyle Busch is the 7-2 favorite in the latest 2020 Food City 500 odds for NASCAR at Bristol. The green flag drops at 3:30 p.m. ET. You'll want to check out the latest 2020 NASCAR at Bristol predictions from SportsLine's Micah Roberts, the legendary Vegas bookmaker who pioneered wagering on racing, before locking in any 2020 Supermarket Heroes 500 picks.

Roberts is among the nation's premier NASCAR betting experts, and his top pick won the first two races of the 2020 season. In the season-opening Daytona 500, he nailed Hamlin's win at 10-1 odds, and he hit eventual winner Joey Logano at 13-2 in the Pennzoil 400 a week later. He also nailed the victory by Hamlin, who wasn't one of the top three favorites, in the Toyota 500.

Roberts also is coming off a huge 2019 NASCAR season. Those who wagered $100 on Roberts' predicted winner in each of the 40 NASCAR races last year (an investment of $4,000) finished with a profit of $2,100. In addition, those who put down $50 on each of Roberts' top four choices in each of the 40 NASCAR races last year (an investment of $8,000) were up $3,400. Anyone who has followed his NASCAR picks is up huge year after year.

Now, Roberts has analyzed the field and odds for Sunday's NASCAR at Bristol 2020 race. He's sharing his winner and leaderboard right here.

2020 Food City 500 expert predictions

One shocker: Roberts is fading Truex, even though he's one of the top 2020 Supermarket Heroes 500 contenders at 12-1. In fact, Roberts says Truex, who is winless in 28 career starts at Bristol, barely cracks the top 20. "Bristol hasn't been his track, as he has a 20th-place average finish and no top-fives in his last 15 starts there," Roberts told SportsLine.

Another curveball: Roberts is high on Matt Kenseth, a massive long shot at 50-1 in the latest 2020 NASCAR at Bristol odds. He's a target for anyone looking for a huge payday. Roberts acknowledges that rust is a factor for Kenseth, who came out of retirement to replace the suspended Kyle Larson for the rest of the season. However, Kenseth's record at this short track is tough to ignore.

The 39-time career winner on the Cup Series is third among active drivers with at least 10 races at Bristol with an average finish position of 13.61, trailing only Jimmie Johnson (13.28) and Kyle Busch (13.45). Kenseth's car should contend well because his team finished fourth at Phoenix with this race package and Larson behind the wheel. Despite his long odds, Roberts believes Kenseth is one of the top 2020 NASCAR at Bristol contenders, making him a driver you should be all over.

How to make 2020 Supermarket Heroes 500 picks

Roberts also is high on a huge long shot, saying, "He might offer one of the best values on the board." This driver is being underestimated by oddsmakers, and anyone who backs him could hit it big.
