11. Takes Puck to the Throat, Stays in Game
In the second period of a January game against Carolina, a shot on goal by Hurricanes forward Brad Malone hit Lundqvist directly in the throat. While this would've sent most people to the hospital, Lundqvist stayed in the game and led the Rangers to a 4-1 victory.

12. Mask Design by Michael J. Fox
As part of a new five-episode TV series called "The Mask with Henrik Lundqvist," Michael J. Fox has designed a goalie mask for Lundqvist, which is being auctioned off for charity. Other mask designers for this special include NASCAR superstar Jeff Gordon and the legendary DJ Tiesto.

Lundqvist utilizes the butterfly style for his goaltending duties. This in itself isn't necessarily unusual, but it's the dramatic way he employs the butterfly that makes him stand out. His incredibly wide stance and unparalleled knee and hip strength allow him to guard the bottom third of the net as well as anyone in the NHL.

15. Mr. Game 7
A 2-1 Game 7 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins in the playoffs last year was the fifth consecutive Game 7 triumph for Lundqvist. Of all the goalies to ever play in the NHL, none have ever accomplished such a feat.
