Manchester United beat Benfica 1-0 on Wednesday in the Champions League group stage in one of oddest ways possible. Benfica's 18-year-old goalkeeper Mile Svilar, the youngest starting goalkeeper in the competition's history, walked into his goal with the ball while attempting to stop a free kick. Take a look:
#Benfica's Mile Svilar is making history as #UCL's youngest ever GK, but bad mistake to gift #MUFC a goal on Rashford's free kick. #SLBMUN pic.twitter.com/MQAqO5N5vC

Shocking. A youngster simply making a mistake, and you have to feel bad for him. Many on the field did, including his opponents. Svilar is from Belgium, and so is United star Romelu Lukaku, who went up to the player to console him after the game. Classy stuff.
Respect to Lukaku who went straight to the Benfica Keeper after the game to console him about the error for Rashford's goal pic.twitter.com/LPFKwKWXHw
