Fans have been hungry for more Champions League action and luckily for them the wait is over! More Group Stage games will kick off on Wednesday. Crvena Zvezda will hit the road to play their first game against RB Leipzig in the Group Stage at 3:00 p.m. ET at Red Bull Arena. While all four teams are eyeing the Round of 16, only the top two teams in the group (Group G) will make it there.
On October 4th, neither Crvena Zvezda nor Young Boys could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. Crvena Zvezda's two goals came from Cherif Ndiaye and Osman Bukari, while Young Boys got theirs from Filip Ugrinic and Cedric Itten.
Meanwhile, RB Leipzig dropped the ball in their first Group Stage match against Manchester City. They fell 3-1 to Manchester City on October 4th.
Crvena Zvezda's draw left them with a 0-1-1 record. As for RB Leipzig, their loss dropped their record down to 1-0-1.
With both teams competing for one of the most prestigious honors in soccer on Wednesday, it's safe to say the stakes are high. There's only one way to know which team cracks under pressure and which rises to the occasion.
