South Carolina has a new coach in Will Muschamp, and on Wednesday, the Gamecocks unveiled new, all-black helmets.
Rather than the traditional polished, shiny look, the Gamecocks will add a flat, matte-black helmet to the rotation this year.

I'm always a fan of the flat black look for helmets, and the shiny garnet stripe down the middle looks really nice with it. There's no word on when, or how often the Gamecocks will don the black helmet, but it's a nice addition to the rotation.
