If there's one phrase most-used to describe Les Miles it's probably, "he's a character." There may not be a football coach in the country with more quirks and eccentricities than The Mad Hatter.
One guy that knows about being a character -- and playing one -- is Tom Cruise. Cruise attended his first ever college football game on Saturday night in Baton Rouge when he watched LSU beat Florida.
Cruise is currently filming a Jack Reacher sequel in New Orleans, so it was logical that he'd make the trip over to Baton Rouge for a game. Les Miles was told about Cruise's appearance and now hopes to turn Cruise's new LSU fandom into a movie role.
"How about Tom Cruise being at the game?" said Miles to reporters. "My daughter saw him. I'd be a good bad guy I think in a Jack Reacher movie."
Les Miles: movie villain. Sounds pretty perfect doesn't it?
Here's to hoping that Cruise gives Miles a call to make his big screen debut soon.
