Mazara is not in the starting lineup Saturday against the Angels, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.
As has often been the case, Mazara is absent from Detroit's starting nine against a lefty starter in Patrick Sandoval. Robbie Grossman will shift to right field as Eric Haase moves from behind the plate to left field Saturday.
