Jones agreed to terms on a contract Sunday with BC Khimki of the Russian VTB United League, Sportando reports.

After being selected by the Thunder in the first round of the 2012 NBA Draft, Jones struggled to find a role with the team over his first three seasons in the league. The Thunder ended up trading him to the Celtics last July, but Jones was unable to make the final roster and was waived prior to the start of the regular season. Jones instead spent all of 2015-16 in the D-League, but never received a call-up. He'll now head to Russia with the hope that he'll play well enough to reignite interest from NBA suitors.
