Brouwer has only managed two points in the last 15 games dating back to Dec. 20.
The veteran winger was shelved for eight games during that stretch with a broken finger, but the issue is apparently behind him. Brouwer has received ample power-play time (2:11 on average) during that stretch, so it's not like the opportunities to produce haven't been there. With just 19 points in 49 games, the 31-year-old has failed to impress in his Calgary debut and will be hard-pressed to approach the 40-ish points he put up in each of the last three seasons.
