Tynan was put on waivers Sunday, Chris Johnston of TSN reports.
Tynan posted eight goals and racked up 73 assists in 72 games with AHL Ontario last season. The 31-year-old forward has one helper in 21 career NHL outings. Tynan will probably spend most, if not all, of the 2023-24 campaign in the minors.
