Tynan was dropped down to AHL Ontario on Tuesday, John Hoven of SiriusXM NHL Network Radio reports.
Tynan has seen action in just two contests this season in which he generated three shots, one hit and two blocks while averaging 10:51 of ice time. While the 29-year-old center figures to spend the bulk of the year play with the Reign, he should still be on the shortlist of potential call-ups throughout the 2021-22 campaign.
