The Kings sent Tynan to AHL Ontario on Sunday, John Hoven of SiriusXM NHL Network Radio reports.
The 29-year-old had been with the Kings since Nov. 5 but didn't appear in any of their five games. Barring injuries to the NHL club's forwards, Tynan isn't likely to get any significant playing time in the near future.
