Marlins pitching prospect Tyler Kolek, the second-overall pick in the 2014 draft, is showing promise as he maneuvers through the Class A ranks for the Greensboro Grasshoppers.

Kolek, who is rated as the Marlins' top prospect by MLB.com, has an impressive 3.67 ERA over his last six starts, despite having just a 1-4 record over that span to show for it. In his last 27 innings of work, Kolek has limited batters to a .248 average at the plate.

Overall, Kolek has a 4-6 record this season with a 4.44 ERA and 49 strikeouts and 36 walks over 75 innings.
