  • Jed Lowrie has a sprained ankle and will wear a boot for a week, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reported. The Astros are less worried about the ankle and more about a potential nerve issue in his leg, which will be re-evaluted when the boot comes off.
  • The Rangers reactivated Alexi Ogando (groin) from the disabled list on Tuesday, Anthony Andro of Fox Sports Southwest reported. Yorvit Torrealba went on the paternity list, but the Rangers will have to make another move within the next three days when Torrealba returns.
  • Dan Haren (back) had a successful rehab outing and will join the Angels in Detroit to throw a bullpen session on Wednesday. Barring setbacks, he is slated to pitch Sunday against the Rangers, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reported.
