The NASCAR DFS driver pool for the 2020 Toyota 500 at Darlington Raceway on Wednesday is loaded with stars like Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin, and Kyle Busch. Building Toyota 500 DFS lineups on daily Fantasy sports sites like FanDuel and DraftKings around them means committing a large portion of your salary cap. Are they worth their huge price tags, or should cheaper drivers like Alex Bowman, Chase Elliott or Erik Jones be the top NASCAR DFS picks for the 2020 Toyota 500?

NASCAR at Darlington gets underway at 6 p.m. ET after the race was moved up with rain in the forecast. Before locking in any Toyota 500 DFS picks, be sure to see the top NASCAR DFS picks, advice and strategy from SportsLine's Mike McClure

McClure is a predictive data engineer and a DFS pro with nearly $2 million in career winnings. He dominated the 2020 Daytona 500, turning a 4x investment after rostering four of the top seven drivers. He was also all over the 2020 Real Heroes 400 at Darlington, with his top three picks -- Denny Hamlin, Martin Truex Jr. and Erik Jones -- all finishing in the top eight. Anybody who has followed McClure's NASCAR DFS advice has seen huge returns.

Now, he's turned his attention to the 2020 Toyota 500 at Darlington. He's only sharing his picks and NASCAR DFS driver pool here.

Top 2020 Toyota 500 NASCAR DFS picks

For the 2020 Toyota 500, McClure is banking on William Byron at $9,000 on FanDuel and $8,900 on DraftKings. Byron was a standout in virtual racing, winning three of the final four events he participated in during the iRacing Pro Invitational Series that ran while live racing was on hiatus. However, he's also shown plenty of speed in the Cup Series this year.

Byron took first place in the second Daytona Duel and also recorded a top-10 finish at Phoenix shortly before the break. Byron finished a disappointing 35th last Sunday at Darlington, but that didn't tell the whole story. He got off to an extremely fast start, leading three laps and winning Stage 1. He faltered after that on the challenging Darlington course, but he's set to learn from those mistakes and return value as one of the overlooked Darlington NASCAR DFS picks on Wednesday.

McClure's NASCAR driver pool for Darlington also includes rostering Kevin Harvick ($13,200 on FanDuel, $11,600 on DraftKings), who won The Real Heroes 400 last Sunday at Darlington. Veteran drivers usually thrive at the challenging Darlington track, and Harvick has handled it better than anybody. He's tied with Kurt Busch for most Cup Series races driven at Darlington (24) and has won here twice, with the other victory coming in 2014.

Amazingly, Harvick has finished in the top five at Darlington in six of his seven starts for Stewart-Haas Racing, with the only exception being a ninth-place performance in 2017. He's also led at least 20 laps in five of his seven Darlington appearances with this team, making him a must-roster for 2020 Toyota 500 DFS contests on Wednesday.

How to set 2020 Toyota 500 DFS lineups

McClure is also targeting an undervalued driver set to return plenty of value. He's in prime position to make a run at the checkered flag and comes at a price that won't break the bank. This pick could be the difference between cashing huge in your NASCAR DFS tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing.
