Newcastle's famous night

It is all over at St James' Park with Newcastle United celebrating a famous 4-1 win over PSG. Better from start to finish than the French champions, the Magpies and their fans will remember Almiron, Burn, Longstaff and Schar's goals for a long, long time. Hernandez had given PSG hope but they were blown away on the night with Luis Enrique likely to face major criticism.

City bag another

Manchester City officially put the game to bed in stoppage time thanks to Doku, who scores from close range. A 3-1 scoreline might be an expected result, but it ls also feels a bit cruel for a Leipzig side that were level for most of the second half.

Newcastle 3-1 PSG!

Hernandez heads in from a Zaire-Emery assist and suddenly PSG have a chance to get themselves back into the game. Still two goals down, though. Barcola is now on for Kolo Muani too who has really struggled all night in truth so perhaps there will be more width to Luis Enrique's men.

Newcastle 3-0 PSG!

Longstaff makes it three for Newcastle. Donnarumma should be doing better, but what a night this is for the Magpies! Trippier plays Longstaff in and a low finish squirms underneath Donnarumma. That should be that!

Shaken PSG

Newcastle's opener has really knocked PSG's defense and specifically Marquinhos who looks very shaky and uncertain all of a sudden. Poor mistake from the Brazilian who is the team captain so not ideal for Luis Enrique to have his skipper looking so vulnerable. The visitors have a lot of the ball in their back line right now which is not ideal give how uncertain Marquinhos and Donnarumma both are with the ball at their feet. Isak crashes into Hernandez which requires treatment and a bandage with the Sweden international bleeding from the head.

Celtic on the board

Celtic score the first goal in this last batch of games on matchday two, courtesy of an impressive one-touch play from Furuhashi. Maeda and O'Reilly, who picked up the assist, also played nicely in the buildup to the goal, which puts their side 1-0 up on Lazio after 12 minutes.

PSG break early press

Newcastle have started well with the home fans on their side, but PSG just turned the hosts' pressure into an attacking opening with Dembele volleying just wide from an Mbappe cross. The Magpies look focused and composed, but Les Parisiens are more than happy to soak up the early pressure so far. Donnarumma with the ball at his feet still looks like Newcastle's best hope of upsetting PSG early on as well as getting at Skriniar alongside Marquinhos.
