Europa recap

Lyon were 3-0 winners at home to Brondby with Karl Toko Ekambi continuing his hot streak with two more goals as Houssem Aouar also found the back of the net. Elsewhere in Group A, Sparta Prague beat 10-man Rangers, 1-0, through a David Hancko effort.

Monaco and Real Sociedad drew 1-1 in Group B through Axel Disasi and Mikel Merino goals, while PSV Eindhoven ran riot in a 4-1 win over Austrian side Sturm Graz with Ibrahim Sangare, Eran Zahavi, Philipp Max and Yorbe Vertessen all on target.

Group C provided wild entertainment with Legia Warsaw's 1-0 win over Leicester City not the biggest headline, as Spartak Moscow edged a five-goal thriller with Napoli which saw Quincy Promes score twice and two players sent off.

Olympiacos were also prolific in Group D with a 3-0 win away at Fenerbahce with two Girogos Masouras goals.

In the later games, Lazio beat Lokomotiv Moscow 2-0 while crowd trouble marred the goalless draw between Marseille and Galatasaray in Group E. In Group G, Bayer Leverkusen destroyed Celtic 4-0 while Real Betis managed a 3-1 win over Ferencvaros.

Dinamo Zagreb were 3-0 winners in Group H as Bruno Petkovic bagged a pair of penalties and West Ham United beat Rapid Wien 2-0 with Declan Rice and Said Benrahma on target.

In Group F, Crvena Zvezda edged a 1-0 win over Ludogorets and Braga came back from one goal down to win 3-1.

Meanwhile, in the UEFA Conference League, Spurs thumped Mura 5-1 with a second-half Harry Kane hat trick in Group G. Elsewhere in the Conference League, Rennes won 2-1 away at Vitesse and Roma were victorious against Zorya Luhansk to make it two wins in as many games for Jose Mourinho's side.

Kous cracker

There have been some special European goals already this season, but that Kous effort takes some beating!

Full time in London

Benrahma's late goal is no less than he and West Ham deserved. This was oh so impressive from the Hammers, who look like they should be a real force in this competition.

Penalty to the visitors

Remarkable this. Rapid Vienna forward Marco Grull goes down in the box and Tobias Stieler points to the spot. Ben Johnson did not even touch him. We'll have a VAR check and the referee is looking at his monitor. Surely he can't give it.
